The Fort McMurray Public School Division (FMPSD) is pleased to announce that Sobhi Hamed has accepted a Vice-Principalship at École McTavish High School for the 2024/2025 school year.
Sobhi has been with FMPSD since 1997, starting as a student at Dr. Clark Public School. He has been at École McTavish High School since 2020; he continuously strives to build a sense of community in his classroom, school, and other organizations.
He obtained his Master's of Education in 2019 from the University of Calgary.
He is excited to continue working with the tremendous staff, students, and families at École McTavish to keep taking the school to new heights.
Let us all take a moment to congratulate Sobhi on his new position and wish him luck in the future.
