Students AP 371: School Student Achievement Awards

Background

The District recognizes that certain students excel in the various dimensions of schooling. The District wishes to recognize singular achievement in each of its schools through the presentation of awards to deserving recipients.

Procedures

1. Selection criteria for awards shall be determined by each Principal, subject to the approval of the Superintendent.
2. Achievement awards may be considered for presentation in each of the following areas:
   1. Academics
   2. Citizenship
   3. Athletics
   4. Fine Arts
   5. Academic Improvement
   6. Sportsmanship
   7. Such other areas as may be determined by the Principal
3. Awards funding shall be provided annually as part of the school budget.
